The SALTO - XS4 Original+ half escutcheon was specially developed for doors and mortise locks according to European standards with anti-panic bar adaptions. The escutcheon is easy to install – both in existing buildings and new construction projects. It is available in a variety of models, with different finishes, and is compatible with a wide range of door handles. The XS4 Original+ Euro is suitable for use in the SALTO Virtual Network (SVN), with SALTO Wireless BLUEnet radio networking, JustIN Mobile for digital keys, as well as with SALTO KS and SALTO Homelok.
Key Features:
- Easy installation on solid and profiled doors made of wood, steel, PVC, and aluminum.
- Escutcheon body and cover made of stainless steel.
- Optionally with a hole for mechanical opening with a protocol function.
- The door can always be opened from the inside (anti-panic function in conjunction with an appropriate mortise lock according to EN 179/1125).
- Complementary fitting without a reading head is available for a uniform appearance on doors without access control.

Compatible with DIN, Euro, and narrow mortise locks. Suitable for mortise locks with a different spindle angle of max. 4°. Fitting body and cover made of stainless steel. Opening from the inside is always possible (anti-panic function optionally available in conjunction with a mortise lock according to EN 179 6). Includes door status detector in the wireless version. All communication with the EM4xx is encrypted. Emergency opening with a portable programming device (PPD) or emergency power supply EPS100.
