The SALTO - Wireless-Node 3 BLUEnet - RFNODE3 is a bridge the gateway and the escutcheons or cylinders, where the distance to the escutcheon or where the number of escutcheons that must be linked to the gateway exceeds what is possible with a single gateway. It also permits to combine in a same property wireless electronic escutcheons or cylinders that belongs to SALTO RFnet or SALTO BLUEnet wireless networks as the RFNODE3 can be connected to a GATEWAYx2C (RFnet) or GATEWAYx3C (SALTO BLUEnet).
Up to 16 SALTO BLUEnet compatible access components can be connected to an RFNode3. All communication with the RFNode3 is AES 128-bit encrypted. Firmware update via SALTO ProAccess SPACE software via gateway and Ethernet connection.

Important notes
- The first node must be connected to the gateway. Another node can be connected to each node (max. 6 units).
- Nodes cannot be placed after a repeater.
- The repeater is connected to a node or a repeater via Bluetooth. A maximum of 6 repeaters in a maximum of 2 lines are possible under a gateway / node (nesting depth max. 3 repeaters per line).
- Max. 16 BLUEnet access components per repeater / node, of which a maximum of 2 SVN-Flex update points.
